For the months of January and February 2020, we have partnered with the Office for Refugees and Immigrants to bring a basic financial literacy course for newcomers. In these workshops, we have discussed the theory and importance of budgets, credit history, baking concepts, and how to buy a house. Through these meetings, we have had 25 participants that have participated in this training. We would like to especially thank Aida Fraaquiz from Boston Private Bank, Angelo Nuby from MassHousing, and Peter Mullen from American Consumer Credit Counseling.” Mainstream Service Providers, as well as the community-at-large.
