I have recently joined the NAAM and am currently in charge of the beginner level, that is I help students who are new to the world of the English language start their linguistic journey. I have always enjoyed interacting with people of all ages and nationalities, and after graduating College with a double major in Asian Culture/ English and Teaching, I had the chance to live and work around the world and broaden my horizons, enjoy and better understand different cultures, teach and be taught not just a language but also what it means to be a global human. As I navigated through state school systems in Romania, private high schools university level courses in Turkey, as well as private language schools and kindergartens in the US, I was lucky enough to meet incredible people from all 7 continents, people of diverse background who have contributed to the person and ESL teacher I am today.
