Sophie Bardetti, CRES Employment Associate/Volunteer Coordinator

Sophie Bardetti joined the NAAM team in July 2022 as the organization’s (first ever!) Volunteer Coordinator. Shortly thereafter, she took on an additional role with the CRES (Comprehensive Refugee Employment Services) team and began working directly with clients to support them in securing and maintaining employment. She is passionate about collaborating with clients to reduce some of the systemic barriers they face when they arrive in their new communities.

Sophie recently earned her B.A. in Global Health & Security from Middlebury College in Vermont. She has worked with a diverse array of non-profits in Massachusetts, Vermont, Puerto Rico, and Rwanda. Sophie truly enjoys learning about human experiences, languages, and cultures. She speaks English, Arabic, Spanish, and Swahili with clients and colleagues and ‘dabbles’ in a handful of other languages. You can follow her on the Duolingo app @SophiaBardetti
