Roberta Rogers, Computer Training Volunteer
I am originally from New York. My degree was in elementary education, and I taught at that level for several years. Then, while raising my family, I enjoyed a variety of other jobs outside the field of education. I eventually returned to teaching – but to teaching adults. For fourteen years, I taught ESOL in the context of family literacy which I found extremely rewarding. After retiring several years ago, I came to NAAM to volunteer in the computer lab with my former colleague, Dulany.
