Paola is Hispanic and enrolled in NAAM in 2019 as a citizenship student. She then joined the NAAM team in 2020 as an American citizenship tutor. Initially, as a tutor, Paola assisted more than 40 students to prepare them for their citizenship interview. Successfully that same year, our Executive Director, Natasha Solkin, invited Paola to start a career in case management for families in Lynn Public Schools. As a Case Manager and Program Coordinator for Lynn Public Schools (LPS), she is in charge of navigating their daily life; such as classes in English, taking care of their mental and emotional health, assisting them in obtaining clothing, food, computers, books, and other materials for their studies or that of their children.

In 2021, she took on the challenge of taking charge of NAAM’s Wellness program as a Program Coordinator. NAAM’s Wellness Program focuses specifically on the care of the mental and emotional health of women and children. The following year, Paola became more involved in the Citizenship Program, coming full circle to how she was first involved with NAAM. She is also a Citizenship Program Assistant. While taking on many roles, Paola is thrilled to be able to help her clients and her community with all their needs. She believes little by little, her work at NAAM helps her community be free of worries.
