Lynne Havusha, Employment Specialist and Case Manager
Lynne Havusha is the Case Manager/Employment Specialist for NAAM’s refugee clients. A Massachusetts native, Lynne earned a B.A. in Psychology from Simmons College and a M.Ed. in Community Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern University. Early in her career, Lynne worked as a mental health
counselor at the Rutland Corner House, a residential halfway house in Brookline, MA, and then at Moadon Shalom, a rehabilitation day program for chronic patients in Jerusalem, Israel. She then enjoyed a long career as an educator at Cohen Hillel Academy, a Jewish day school in Marblehead, MA, where she worked first as a Hebrew language teacher and then as Director of Student Services, a position from which she retired in 2016. After a brief retirement, Lynne found her way to the New American Center, where she grateful to be working alongside wonderful colleagues and inspired daily by the strength, resilience and spirit of her clients.
