Harena Gebreyesus is a recent graduate from University of Massachusetts – Amherst (UMASS Amherst) with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition in a pre Health Sciences track. She has been involved with the New American Center since she arrived in the country in 2009. She began as a student in the after-school program to working in the summer program and supervising the teen staff. She is currently working and preparing for graduate school.
