Dulany Alexander, Citizenship Instructor/Computer Training Instructor
Once upon a time, Dulany was a self-employed stained glass craftsman in the Pacific Northwest, but then she decided to go into teaching. A year living in France convinced her that teaching French was not in the cards, so she became an elementary school teacher in Central Florida. However, when a friend persuaded her that Massachusetts would be a great place to live, she found work here with a computer graphics company. Eventually, she got tired of working in the corporate world and decided to go back to teaching, only this time, she wanted to teach adults. As luck would have it, she fell into teaching English to adults in 1988, and she loved it. She’s been teaching English and adult basic education, and integrating technology into instruction ever since.
